The main goal of my research program is merge the human-machine gap in visual content analysis via computational models, and characterize brain cognition in computational terms. To what extent does human brain implement different algorithms to solve image and multimedia interpretation? In what ways might understanding the human mind improve the ability of engineer solutions?
