张再云，博士(后)，教授，硕士生导师，湖南省人民政府学位委员会学科评议组委员会委员，湖南省教育厅理学组类教学指导委员会委员，湖南省高校青年骨干教师，霍英东教育基金会高等院校青年科学奖及教育教学奖评审专家；广东省、海南、湖南等省自科基金评审专家；湖南省教育厅普通院校高级职称评审专家;湖南省教育厅中小学教师面试考官；湖南省教育厅普通高校教师课堂教学竞赛评审专家，美国《数学评论》特约评论员，美国德克萨斯大学访问学者。
      主要研究方向为非线性偏微分方程及其应用，包括非线性偏微分方程控制理论、适定性问题，能量分析，低正则问题及其动力学行为，孤波解理论及其稳定性。主持或参与完成国家自科基金项目、湖南省自然科学基金项目、湖南省教育厅重点项目、中国博士后基金特别资助和面上基金等各类科研项目10余项；在Journal of Geometric Analysis 、Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society、Journal of  Dynamics & Differential Equations、Journal of Evolution Equation、Journal of Mathematical Physics等国内外知名数学期刊上发表学术论文70余篇，其中SCI、EI收录60余篇，2篇论文分别获湖南省自然科学优秀学术论文一、三等奖，获湖南省自然科学奖1项。为国际知名杂志审稿200多篇，主要杂志有：Applied Mathematics Letter、Computers and Mathematics with Applications、Mathematical and Computer Modelling、Nonlinear dynamics、Applied Mathematical Modelling、 Neural Computing & Applications International Journal of Numerical Methods for Heat and Fluid Flow、 International  Journal of Computational Methods等60余个刊物。
     主持高等学校大学数学教学研究与发展中心教改项目1项，湖南省高等学校教改项目3项；获湖南省高等教育教学成果奖1项；主持湖南省精品课程《常微分方程》1项。
