Yuan Liu, Ph.D. is a professor at Cyberspace Institute of Advanced Technology of Guangzhou University in Guangdong, China, since 2022. She serves as the department director of the information security department from June 2016 to Dec. 2019. She received her B.Sc degree in the honor school, Harbin Institute of Technology, China, in July of 2010. She achieved her Ph.D degree in School of Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in November of 2014. She then worked as a Research Fellow at Joint NTU-UBC Research Centre of Excellence in Active Living for the Elderly (LILY), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore for one year. She was an associate professor at northeastern university, China from 2015 to 2022. Her research interests include consensus mechanism in blockchain, blockchain for federated learning, blockchain in IoT, incentive mechanism design for reputation systems, crowdsourcing systems, human computation systems; trust management; and robustness evaluation. She has published peer-reviewed academic papers more than 70 (including AAAI, AAMAS etc.). She teaches two courses: "Blockchain Technology" and "Game Theory" .
