Xing Tian (S’18–M’19) received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the South China University of Technology in 2014 and 2019, respectively. He is an Associate Professor with the School of Artificial Intelligence, South China Normal University, Guangzhou, China. He was a postdoctoral researcher with the South China University of Technology, and with City University of Hong Kong, in 2019 and 2020, respectively. Dr. Tian has also visited the Ulster University in U.K for one year as an academic visitor supported by China Scholarships Council (CSC). His major research interests include machine learning, hashing, image retrieval, multi-modal retrieval, and deep learning.
