David Tavilla is Assistant Professor of Computer Technology at the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Founded through a gift by Benjamin Franklin to the Town of Boston for the training of apprentices, the college today offers two and four-year programs in Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, and Opticianry, among others. Professor Tavilla teaches courses in Cisco Networking, Windows Server Administration, A+ Computer Repair, and Audio Visual Technology. He earned his B.A. in Physics from Bates College, and a Master of Education from Harvard University. In addition, he is an A+ certified computer repair technician, a Microsoft Certified Professional, and a Cisco Networking Academy CCENT Instructor.
