吴明芬教授，本科毕业于南京师范大学，研究生毕业于南昌大学，2008-2009在中科院计算技术研究所访问一年。2002年获得计算机应用技术专业硕士导师资格，中国计算机学会高级会员、计算机学会教育工委委员，中国人工智能学会离散数学专委会委员、广东省计算机学会数据库分会理事。独撰及第一作者在国内外权威学术刊物上发表论文30多篇（其中12篇被SCI、EI、CPCI收录，10篇为中文核心），软件著作权1项：申请发明专利1项：合作出版专著和教材各一部。主持广东省自然科学基金、广东省科技计划项目、江门市科技计划项目和五邑大学重点科研基金项目各一项，主持广东省教育厅课题1项。

Introduction

MingFen Wu received his B.S. degree in mathematics from Nanjing Normal University in 1985, M.S. degree in mathematics from Nanchang University in 1989. He is a visiting scholars of the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2008 to 2009. Now he is a professor of computer science in Wuyi University , a member of CCF and IACSIT. His research interests focus on fuzzy set theory, rough set theory and applications of these theory in data mining and artificial intelligence.
