先后承担国家自然科学基金项目、国家十一五、十二五科技支撑计划项目、国家863计划项目、科技部科技人员服务企业项目、湖北省杰出人才基金项目、湖北省自然科学基金重点项目、武汉市青年科技晨光计划项目等。在物联网、物流自动化与机器人技术、系统控制与协作、物流信息化与系统仿真等方面做了有效的研究与探索。先后发表科研论文170余篇，有100余篇次被三大检索（SCI、EI、ISTP）收录。申报国家专利20余项，软件著作权20余项。先后获得过：省部级科技进步一等奖2项、二等奖7项、三等奖1项。

Dr. Wenfeng Li is a full professor at the school of Logistics Engineering, Wuhan University of Technology. He received his PhD degree from Wuhan University of Technology in 2000, his Master degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1990, and his Bachelor degree from Zhengzhou Institute of Light Industry. He worked at the Royal Institute of Technology of Sweden as a visiting scholar in 2013. He was a visiting professor at New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2012, and a visiting professor at CUSP of New York University in 2015. He set up the institute of Logistics and Robotics, the center of IOT and Logistics Technologies, and the international joint lab of Internet of Things. He and his research group have accomplished over 25 scientific research projects, with the fund from National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), R&D project of MOST, and R&D projects of Chinese provinces. They have dedicated research activities to industrial application and set up two research bases on IOT and logistics researches and application.
Dr. Wenfeng Li is a senior member of both IEEE and China Society of Logistics, TC member of IEEE CSCWD, a Committee member of Teaching Guiding Committee for logistics education of Ministry of Education of China, a Member of Intelligent Manufacture Committee of China, a Director of Wuhan Mechanical Design and Mechanism Society, and a Member of Hubei Society of Industrial Engineering. He has contributed to IEEE as a Session Co-Chair of IEEE SMC 2009 to 2015, a Program Committee Co-Chair of the International Working Group on CSCW in Design (2012) and a Program Committee Co-Chair of the international Conference of ICMA 2010, ICIA 2010, CSCWD2015 and IDCS2015, IDCS2016.

His research Interests include IoT and its Application, Robotics, Logistics Information and Automation, Simulation and Planning of Logistics and Supply Chain, Intelligent Manufacture.
