Arshad Ali currently works at Spatial Ecology Lab, South China Normal University, Guangzhou China. Ali does research in Ecology and Forestry. Ali’s research interest mainly focuses on biodiversity - aboveground biomass or productivity in natural forests, agroforests, rangelands and alpine plant communities. Ali is also interested in the studies regarding plant functional traits and community assembly. Ali is the Editor of Forestry: An International Journal of Forest Research, and Journal of Forestry Research published by Oxford University Press and Springer, respectively.
