Dr. Xiaoping Li is a distinguished professor in Guangdong University of Technology. He is an IEEE Senior member and a Distinguished member of China Computer Federation (CCF). He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Applied Computer Science from the Harbin University of Science and Technology in 1993 and 1999, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Applied Computer Science from the Harbin Institute of Technology in 2002. From Jan. 2003 to Dec. 2004, he did postdoctoral research at the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. From Mar. 2009 to Mar. 2010, he was a visiting professor at the National Research Council, London, Ontario, Canada. He is a full professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Southeast University, Nanjing, China.
